Payment
POLKA accepts payment with Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, JCB, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal. Payment will only be debited from your account when the item is dispatched.
All amounts are in DKK. Danish kroner and is incl. VAT
POLKA uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your information cannot be read.
Order confirmation
When you have completed a purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by email within a few minutes. Please use the indicated order number as a reference for inquiries regarding your order.
Delivery
Shipping of goods within Denmark's borders takes place with DAO, unless otherwise agreed.
The delivery time is normally 2-4 working days. When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS directly from DAO with information so that you can follow the shipment.
Reservations are made for delays due to DAO or force majeure which are beyond POLKA's control.
Delivery of goods from POLKA is deemed to have taken place when you, as a consumer, have received the goods. The risk for goods purchased from POLKA passes to you as a consumer at the time of delivery.
Right of complaint
There is a 2-year right to complain in accordance with the Purchase Act. Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing.
The complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect operation of the product.
POLKA will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Packages sent on cash on delivery are not accepted.
Refund
If a refund has been agreed, the amount will be returned in the same way as it was paid.
Right of withdrawal
There is a 14-day full right of return on goods purchased in our webshop, unless the product is sewn according to your personal measurements.
The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.
Return costs are your own responsibility.
Cancellation must be reported to us no later than 14 days after the purchase and you must return the shipment no later than 14 days after.
The notice must be given by email at sille@polkashop.dk. In the message, you must make us clearly aware that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
The condition of the item when you send it back
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the goods. In other words – you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the item's commercial value.
In order to receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the product, but not actually use it.

Personal information is never given to third parties, unless you yourself expressly give your consent to this, and we never collect personal information without you having given us this information yourself when registering, purchasing or participating in a survey, etc. Here information is collected about name, address, postcode, e-mail, gender, age, interests, attitudes and knowledge of various topics.
Personal information is used to complete the purchase or service in connection with which the information was collected. The information is also used to get to know you and other users of the website better. This use can, among other things, include research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, as well as displaying content and advertising tailored to your interests and hobbies.

Protection of personal data
According to the Personal Data Act, your personal information must be stored securely and confidentially. We store your personal information on restricted-access computers located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are reviewed on an ongoing basis to determine whether our user information is being handled appropriately, while still respecting your rights as a user.
However, we cannot guarantee 100 percent security of data transfers via the Internet. This means that there may be a risk of others unjustifiably forcing access to information when data is sent and stored electronically. You thus submit your personal information at your own risk.
Personal information is deleted or anonymized on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which it was collected is completed. Personal information is stored for a maximum of 12 months after use.
The rapid development of the internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may become necessary. We therefore reserve the right to update and change these guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do, we will of course correct the date of "last updated" at the bottom of the page. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you in the form of a visible notice on our websites.
To the extent that personal data about you is processed, according to the Personal Data Act, you have the right to be informed of which personal data can be attributed to you. If it turns out that the information or data processed about you is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to demand that this be corrected, deleted or blocked.
You can object at any time to information about you being processed. You can also revoke your consent at any time. You have the opportunity to complain about the processing of information and data concerning you. Complaints are submitted to the Danish Data Protection Authority, cf. section 58, subsection of the Personal Data Act. 1.
